November 25 Lab Explosion
On November 25, 2011 club founder Ken Rieli was severely injured in a lab explosion at our house. Granddaughter Elisabeth was also injured (back home the same day - o.k. now, thank God).
Ken was treated at Marquette General trauma center and spent some time healing and undergoing out-patient treatments. He's home now, on the long road to recovery. The explosion occurred when Ken was mixing powders for reloading - a hobby unrelated to turbines or 21st century energy/transportation technologies
Our family pulled together from day One - grandsons cut firewood for me to chop & feed into our woodstove, and helped care for our dogs, while daughter Miracle & others filled in the gap in many areas, and everywhere we go, we discover that those who have met Ken are praying hard for his recovery.
In the midst of this tragedy, we came under attack by authorities who tried to connect us with the Black Friday bombing incidents in the U.P. We can only stand our ground on the truth & love of Jesus, believing that "many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all."
If you are able, you may send a donation through our Phoenix Turbine Builders Club donation page. Or send a message to Ken HERE.
We will continue to offer the DIY Tesla Turbogenerator Project CD & intend to complete New Turbine Workshop projects as planned.
