Tesla Turbogenerator: New Oiling System

Before running turbine, check the oil level in the plastic sight glass and fill the tank completely with oil prior to spooling up. Due to shipping restrictions, the oil reservoir cannot be shipped with oil. You must fill the tank prior to use.
- Inlet to oil holding tank must be below oil outlet from turbine.
- Inlet to turbine should be no higher than 6 inches above the oil tank outlet.
Use only approved spindle oil such as Velocite #6 (Mobile) – as light as possible for maximum flow and heat protection. (Item #505-2000 at use-enco.com) You may also use Mobil DTE24.
Before spooling up the turbine, run the oil pump for approximately 1 minute or until oil can be viewed returning to the oil holding tank (through the clear plastic tubing).
