Munising, MI – Today Ken Rieli, President & CEO of Phoenix Navigation & Guidance Inc., announced that he is forming a new automotive company to lead the way into a new era of space age hybrid vehicle offerings.
Based on engine and drivetrain technologies designed & developed at PNGinc, his advanced WorldKar concept promises to deliver twice the fuel economy at less than half the price of GM’s up-and-coming “Volt”.
A recent collaborative effort between PNGinc and Michigan Technological University has confirmed an outstanding 45 MPG in bumper-to-bumper gridlock, with a projected 80-100 MPG on the open highway.
When asked for delivery dates on the concept car, Mr. Rieli simply stated, “WorldKar is being developed as a new 21st century standard – a goal for the global auto industry to catch up to. When our failing auto industry gets serious about partnering with us, then our failing economy and ecology will head back in the right direction.”
