First person on the planet to build & demonstrate a Lunar Roving Vehicle

In 1963 PNGinc's founder designed and developed the traction system later used on the U.S. Lunar Rover.

First non-pneumatic tire design

Ken Rieli's Lunar Roving Vehicle models, invented and developed in 1963-1964, used the first non-pneumatic tire design. His straightforward, simple traction approach was put through exhaustive testing and proven to work.

Although elements of his designs were later copied by NASA and the European Space Agency - those organizations failed to test their systems ahead of time and have serious problems on extraterrestrial expeditions.

Best Contender for Lunar X-Prize

We are now designing a new lunar rover for remote/autonomous exploration of our nearest neighbor. This upgraded vehicle is more robust, with a new "infinite life" engine.

The vehicle's propulsion system is based on years of development in disc turbines & new combustion cycles. - Our unique heat differential turbine allows lunar rovers to continue their missions indefinitely.
