Phoenix PDT Pulse Detonation Turbines are also able to use less expensive fuels (such as propane), and will eliminate lead & other fuel pollutants that piston engines require.

Oh, by the way, there is no need to use cooling air at all. And Phoenix PDTs require less power than conventional bladed turbines. This means that more fuel is used to actually power the aircraft.
