PROJECT: On April 24, 2008 MTU's Senior Design Phoenix Team validated our next-generation power management architecture in a comprehensive project that included computer modeling in Matlab's Simulink and a scaled prototype of a controller module.
Their findings confirmed PNGinc's power management strategy -- In gridlock stop-and-go traffic driving conditions, the simulated HEV achieved a 45.66 MPG rating. - That’s 90 MPG highway (on combustible fuels, not battery electric equivalents) using conventional automotive parts.
