Open Letter to President Obama

January 26, 2009

I recently saw a show on PBS called “The Big Energy Gamble”. In it, the governor of California laid out an ambitious program for drastically cutting emissions and, in the process, creating new industry and job growth. The plan seems to be endorsed by your Secretary of Energy, Mr. Chu.

I whole-heartily agree with the basics of the program. There remains, however, a serious flaw in reasoning. There is an immediate need to move from coal to new power; nuclear is not the way!

Nuclear power is a fossil fuel - just like coal, oil and natural gas. While it does not emit CO2, it does produce the most lethal toxins known to man.

Over the past several decades, I have worked on both power and transportation technologies that are completely revolutionary, and yet simple and low cost to build. These technologies now place in our hands the ability to change the planet forever - for all people - not just the well-to-do!

We are standing on the threshold of a new era. We can step forward into the space age, or regress back into the stone age of nuclear power. The choice is up to you to lead the country into new industry that will create and maintain a new job force, employing millions of workers, or continue to bail out the “old boy” energy cartel.

My new program solves all of the problems and setbacks associated with renewables, as voiced by both Mr. Chu and Governor Schwartzenegger. The cornerstone of our program is to provide pollution-free power without a single cent of increased cost to the consumer. Along with capping costs, we are able to store and move power while jump-starting the new hydrogen infrastructure.

By stepping through the doorway of space age technologies, we can realize an entire planet powered by the sun, and at the same time supplying limitless amounts of fuel for new pollution-free cars & trucks.

I would like to invite you, Mr. Chu, and Mr. Schwartzenegger to visit my website to see for yourselves a real direction for the country. I also invite you to call me at any time to discuss how we might work together to move the country and the whole planet forward.

Sincerely,
